  1. in soup pot saute onions, garlic, carrots for 5 minutes
  2. add salt, vegetable stock, and water
  3. bring to a low boil and cook for 20 minutes
  4. use immersion blender to make creamy
  5. add peanut butter and chili sauce, blend to smooth
  6. taste and adjust — add salt, honey, chili, whatever
  7. fill bowls, drizzle with coconut milk, and sprinkle basil on top
